Very nice looking desk, but somewhat difficult to put together. The locking screws make it challenging to keep the pieces together and the pieces that comprise the desk drawer are difficult to keep aligned. Everytime I open the drawer it falls off of the track because the sides spread apart. Would be better if they came with hex Really good looking desk, but somewhat tough to put together. Following reviewing a number of Shoal Creek desk choices, I settled on the smaller version. Mind you its nonetheless a good sized desk when completely assembled. Its nicely created and you shouldn't have any problem putting it together- assuming you read all the guidelines, inventory all the items for assembly and guarantee no damage throughout delivery. The drawers were a little tricky to put together, so take your time. I strongly recommend you inventory and seperate the nuts, bolts and so on it makes assembly a lot easier. (Note not all the items are labeled, so the pre inventory will assist you to identify the right pieces from the images). (More...)

Really like this! Took me a month to determine which 1 I wanted.... So glad this really is the 1 I purchased! (I believed the keyboard drawer did not come out all of the way.. but it does. You've got to pull on it at initial use since it is tight and new. Then works excellent! I would advocate this product! (More Detail...)

The item was really nicely packaged. The box was cocooned in a larger box with lots of protection. The desk itself looks nice. The photo obviously makes it look a bit more upscale. Still, for the price it really is fine. Assembly was simple. Oddly, I only had troubles using the casters. (Review More...)

I bought this item about a month ago. It came to my door in less than a week. In the event you lay out all the pieces and have a great deal of space to work with, this desk is extremely enjoyable to put together. I located it quite easy to put together. Really sturdy desk, elegant and nicely worth the cost. The only thing I do not care for is that there's no actual drawer space. The file is fantastic, but no insert for drawers. That would be my only genuine complaint, apart from that it is a gorgeous, solid great searching piece of furniture. (Read More...)

Immediately after reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this item. I created the buy on Feb two, 2011 and on February 9th I known as Cymax to inquire about my order for the reason that I had not received an email notifying me about the shipment. I was informed that the order had shipped on February four, 2011 and the CSR, Alex Williams, apologized for not sending an email. I received my item on February 10, 2011 by way of Fed Ex. It was quite properly packaged. My desk had nothing missing, broken, or scratched. I was able to put this desk together myself (female 5'1") in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is darker than the imaged displayed on the web site (I more than looked that the color is noted as cherry)but it all worked out properly for me. I feel that for a desk made out of engineered wood (resembles cork wood), it truly is beautifully produced and much less costly compared to other desks in the exact same top quality category (engineered wood). It was modest enough to fit in my tight corner but spacious enough for me to fit a telephone, monitor, massive size tower, printer, modem, and (More...)
